Karine Côté holds a Master's of Arts degree from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi and lives in Alma. She has worked at the Sagamie centre since 2001, where she is in charge of special projects. Her artistic approach is one of re-directing the viewer's understanding of the nature of the work. Her exhibition Fréquences urbaines will be presented in several artist-run centres throughout Quebec in 2008-09, including Le Lobe in Saguenay, Langage Plus in Alma and HORACE in Sherbrooke. Her work will also been seen in France and Germany in the near future.
