Anne-Lise Seusse

Anne-Lise Seusse lives and works in Lyon, where she earned a diploma from the École nationale des beaux-arts in 2007. Photographing the social rituals of various micro-communities engaged in the same leisure activity, she explores the changing vocation of sites according to the activity carried out in them. Her work has been shown in various exhibitions the past few years, including Grammaire de la ville at the Goethe-Institut of Lyon (2007), L'exposition de Noël at the Magasin of the Centre National d'Art Contemporain (Grenoble, 2008), Esplanade du Dauphiné in the gallery L'attrape-couleurs (Lyon, 2009) and Nulle part est un endroit at the Centre Photographique d'Ile-de-France (Pontault-Combault, 2010). In the fall of 2009 Anne-Lise Seusse carried out a two-month residency at Optica in Montreal.
