Ofer Wolberger was born in 1976 and lives and works in New York. His work, which often features sites into which artificial elements or temporal disjunctions intrude, explores strangeness, the unexpected and the mysterious constructions of everyday life. His work has been shown in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Europe, Asia and the United States. His series Life with Maggie has been exhibited at C/O in Berlin (2009), at the Michael Hoppen Contemporary gallery in London (2009) and at the Goethe-Institut in Stockholm (2010). He was a finalist for the BMW - Paris Photo Prize in 2008 and for the Prix HSBC pour la Photographie in 2009. In the spring of 2008 he received the Humble Arts Foundation Grant for Emerging Photographers.
