Émilie Rondeau holds a master's degree in visual art from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax and lives in Rivière-Ouelle. Confronting real space with its representation her photographs frustrates and challenges the way we look at landscape. Several solo exhibitions of her work have been held at venues such as Action Art Actuel in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (2008), the Musée du Bas-Saint-Laurent in Rivière-du-Loup (2008) and Vaste et Vague in Carleton-sur-Mer (2009). Émilie Rondeau has also carried out residencies at Sagamie in Alma (2008), 3e impérial in Granby (2009) and La Bande Vidéo in Québec (2010).
