Mireille Brousseau holds a bachelor's degree in fine arts. She lives in Quebec City, where she works in photography, sculpture, installation and the publication of artists' books. In her recent work, she has used deteriorated family photographs to show how the metamorphoses of time induce new readings, despite the gradual disappearance of the images. Entropies was created as part of her studies for a master's degree in fine arts at Université Laval. An initial version of the exhibition was presented at the Galerie Art Mûr in Montreal in 2006.
