VU maintains a documentation centre with several thousand documents - books, catalogues, periodicals, files on artists and organisations - covering the major fields of photographic activity. The documentation centre provides artists, students, historians and art lovers with access to documentation on photography from Quebec, the rest of Canada and abroad. The documentation centre's resources can be consulted on site free of charge by non-members. VU's staff members are pleased to facilitate research in the documentation centre's collections. The catalogue of the collection will eventually be accessible on-line from this web site.
