Le réel et ses simulacres

This exhibition catalogue illustrates some of the principal avenues of photographic practice in Quebec in the 1990s, and in particular the production of images which share aspects of both reality and simulacra. The participating artists are Patrick Altman, Raymonde April, Richard Baillargeon, Michel Campeau, Michel Lamothe, Lucie Lefebvre, Miklos Legrady, Sylvie Readman and Cheryl Sourkes. An essay by Sylvain Campeau and biographical notes complete the volume.
